An educational
trip was
organised by the
school to the
Sharjah Science
Museum, for the
students of
class 7th on 24
April, 2019. The
aim of the visit
was to develop
scientific
awareness and
scientific
temper among the
students.
The visit proved
to be a great
way to arouse
curiosity in the
minds of the
students. It was
a thrilling and
motivating
experience.
The students
were welcomed
and taken to the
theatre to watch
a short movie on
Journey into
Mars. A very
informative
piece to watch,
it gave an
insight to the
life of
astronauts and
the difficulties
they have to
face in the
space. Watching
the movie was a
great learning
experience.
The museum
provided a whole
wonder and
amazement with
interactive
hands on
exhibits. Like –
Probability
game, trace the
stars, the
digestive
system,
preserved
specimen of
insects, etc.
The students
were excited to
observe certain
exhibits which
had similarity
to their science
projects.
Last, but not
the least the
Workshop on
artificial
intelligence had
great impact on
the students.
The biometric
Robot and
artificial hand,
the talking
Robot and many
more exhibits on
Robots highly
drew their
attention and
greatly inspired
them.
The students
thoroughly
enjoyed the
visit and the
plethora of the
visit left them
spell-bound. The
students were
really drawn in
the magical
world of
science. The
trip was
enriching
experience for
them.
