Commemoration Day
or Martyrs Day is marked
annually on November 30
in the United Arab
Emirates, recognising
the sacrifices and
dedication of Emirati
martyrs who gave their
life in the UAE and
abroad in the field of
civil, military and
humanitarian services.
To commemorate their
sacrifice, the Martyrs’
Day was observed in our
school on 29 November by
raising the flag half
-mast at 8 am and by
observing a minute of
silence at 11.30 am
followed by the raising
of UAE flag and the
National Anthem.
